Fare thee well, October

Okay, it will be November in my little part of the world in a few hours. Even if I forget to write here for a long time I try not to miss a month sooo...
Just a month ago I was complaining about how unbearably hot the weather was, but now I dread going outside in the morning to go to school.
But today happens to be Halloween! My favourite holiday of the year, and of course I went out and got plenty of candy. There's now a box of sugar coma not far from where I am.
What a fantastic day it was. It even started pretty well actually, before I left for school this morning I looked out my bedroom window and saw two men in dog costumes walking across the street.
When I was walking around downtown some people on stilts and dressed as grim reapers gave me chocolate and there were old radio plays being broadcast in Churchill Square.
Now I'm going to watch John Carpenter's movie, "The Thing" before I study a little and go to bed. He really made a lot of fantastic horror movies, this one in my opinion is probably the best, though Prince of Darkness is pretty good as well. Perfectly atmospheric, they both are.
Au revoir!
