Quite a few elderly aboriginal people have told me that cats will heal the people that take care of them. It's a rather nice thought, isn't it.
The past two days or so, I've woken up out of my delirium to find my kitty curled up against me and purring. Like practically all cats she's rather arrogant, and usually runs to her food dish when I wake up. But these times she just stayed by me, her warm little body providing comfort.
I still can't stand the smell of any kind of food, but I'll give her tuna or something when I can.
