Quite a while ago I read something written by a photographer. He said that for the first time in the history of photography people could take a picture of something rather pointless, like their knees, and just share it with everyone. Because the processes of early photography (tintypes and Polaroids etc) no longer hamper people. This must be obvious but, I thought it was a nice article.
I'm a little lonely right now, those feelings come and go. But when I take a photo of something I feel like maybe my world is being shared, and it makes me feel closer to the rest of humanity. Feeling ordinary is also feeling accepted.
