Delicous peaches for all

I think I'm a accepting person. Something that has stuck in my head as a good analogy of acceptance and diversity of opinion- is also something Dita Von Teese said.

"You can be a delicious, ripe peach and there will still be people in the world that hate peaches."

I am a rather simple girl, and that's probably why I've remembered that analogy for so long. The reason I bring this up is because one of my friends, who is transgendered,  was being bothered on the street earlier. She told me things like that don't upset her much anymore. Which kind of made me sad as well as relieved. Being taunted shouldn't be "just a daily part of life" for anyone.
