I was pleased in a rather silly way just now about my minimal progress in The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap. A game that came out in 2004 and I gave up on for whatever vague reason back then. Sooo anyways, my progress is five hearts and a magic wind pot. Oh, and purple thing that's supposed to represent the earth element but looks a bit more like flames. It's all good. I beat up a giant green bouncy slime thing made up of many small green bouncy slime things that also had red eyes to get it along with one of the hearts. That was easy. These people just decided to give Link a sword and told him to rescue Princess Zelda after a sorcerer turned her into a nice statue. Wow, he's only a kid, people. And he's being sent off into the woods alone to do this. Poor child, I think he's supposed to be ten years old? Or twelve. Wait, it's because he's a child that they gave him a sword and let him use a toy shield.
Princess Zelda is really cute, along with the rest of the graphics and such. But I wouldn't know anything about all that because this is what happened when I went back to it.

At least Link didn't turn into a corrupted data monster, but the music didn't even survive. And a few of the field objects just float around and collision detection is totally broken.
I wanted to play the chicken catching game mini-game! I'll go back to the so-called REAL WORLD then if this is how it's going to be. Resignation.
Bad things are always happening to my Zelda games but I'll try another one, let's see what happens.
