I think the most disturbing visual I've ever seen in a mainstream Hollywood movie was the guy ripping off his face in Poltergeist. I always made fun of this movie but then I saw that, and now can't laugh anymore. I'm not linking to it either because I don't want to be responsible for making somebody sick.
I actually started gagging and ran out of the room....
