My landlady came by and gave me a little box filled with cookies and other various little things she made herself. That was so nice and unexpected! Looking at them I thought of my resolution to try and eat better and take care of myself a little more like a reasonable adult.
What a time to think seriously of such a thing, but I can do it maybe, probably not whatever okay I guess. Oh and also, I'm going to buy myself a decent toaster on Boxing Day, really my kitchen is so sad.
