I took apart my old PC today! The lightning rod. The fan as expected was warped, and dusty. So I cleaned it, and now the vacuum sound is gone. Of course it's still D.O.A. but I feel a little better about salvaging its dignity. Somewhat at least.
My HP! You helped me through high school and a bit beyond.
